Cost of the Conference

$75 for full price (for full-time faculty and others  with institutional support)

$40  reduced price (for those with reduced/no financial support, including graduate students, independent scholars, adjuncts, and retired scholars)

The second category is for scholars who do not receive significant financial assistance from a university to attend conferences.  While we will not police payments, we ask that you pay a fair amount, as we do not expect to break even from this conference but instead believe that an affordable conference is better for our organizations.

You may also use the form to donate to the “Constance Rourke Travel Fund,” which helps fund graduate students to attend the conference.

Reminder: presenters must be a member of the associated organization you are presenting for–either the Mark Twain Circle or the American Humor Studies Association.  You may join/renew at those links, or you may add your membership fee to your registration fee using the form below.
